Thrilled to FINALLY spend a whole evening celebrating my all time favourite vocalist - the phenomenal Lady Day.
This has been such a long time coming, especially seeing as I have amassed a repertoire of well over 100 Billie Holiday songs to date...
So here it is....A heartfelt tribute to Billie Holiday...with the stunning Vieux Carre line up of Steve Hamilton (Piano), Dick Lee (Sax/clarinet) Chris Greive (Trombone) Stu Brown ( drums) and Roy Percy (Bass) and me on vocals :)
We will be performing Billie's joyful early works alongside the more melancholic works of her later days ... i do hope you can join us in celebrating the life of this iconic and stoic lady...
